Integrating Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) factors into financial decision-making has gained substantial traction, redefining the landscape of finance and risk management. This overview explores the dynamic intersection of sustainable finance and ESG integration, emphasizing the crucial balance between risk management and corporate responsibility. By delving into the multifaceted dimensions of this evolving paradigm, we gain insights into how financial institutions, corporations, investors, and regulators navigate the complexities of integrating sustainability considerations into their strategies while effectively managing risks.
This Special Issue seeks to explore how these concepts intersect and reinforce each other. Sustainable Finance and ESG Integration is a rapidly evolving field, so numerous opportunities for research, analysis, and contributions can advance our understanding of how finance and responsible investing intersection for a more sustainable future. The specific aims of this Special Issue are to:

(2) Investigate the impact of green financial inclusion on sustainable development goals, including poverty eradication, climate action, and environmental conservation
(3) Explore innovative approaches, policies, and best practices in driving financial inclusion within sustainable finance initiatives
(4) Identify and analyze case studies of successful sustainable financial programs from different regions and sectors
(5) Discuss the role of technology, digitalization, and fintech in advancing sustainable finance
(6) Evaluate the regulatory frameworks and policy interventions necessary to foster an enabling environment for sustainable finance and ESG
(7) Encourage interdisciplinary perspectives by welcoming contributions from scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and industry experts in finance, economics, sustainability, social sciences, and related fields
