About This Special Issue
The excavator swing device is responsible for the rotation of the upper parts of the excavator. If the durability of the swing device is not guaranteed in the actual vehicle environment, the full performance of the excavator cannot be guaranteed. Therefore, this study completed the design of the accelerated life test of the product, which is the final evaluation method of the product, using the environment measurement.
The study has developed a wireless measurement system to ensure the reliability of the data acquired at this time. The measurement system has improved the resolution and S / N ratio of the data by using simulation. And, it is configured wirelessly to allow free rotation like real working environment of excavator. Finally, the response of the measuring system was defined precisely through the calibration of the measuring system. This verified the reliability of the developed wireless measurement system.
Based on the measured data analysis, the study selected a suitable model among the acceleration models. Using the selected acceleration model, the study has completed a test design that guarantees durability in extremely various environments. The results of this study will be used effectively in the evaluation of machine parts with various usage environments like excavator.

Aims and Scope:

  1. Durability Assessment
  2. Accelerated Life Test
  3. Simulation
  4. Wireless Measurement
  5. Actual Environment
  6. Swing Device of Excavator
