About This Special Issue
Chemical kinetics, of the reactions in either phase; condensed or gas and homogeneous or heterogeneous, has remained in focus since the development in science and technology. A number of subfields of the sciences involve such probes to explore the rates of reactions, and to identify the elementary reactions and mechanistic paths. Various factors may affect the kinetics of the reactions and alter the mechanistic route from one way to another. The interest of the scientists revolves around this topic not only in the current ages, but it has been of attention among them in the past decades. The outcomes help to control the conditions of a particular reaction in order to come up with the fruitful results.

This issue focuses various aspects of the dynamics of the reactions in different phases. It reveals the elementary-step kinetics and proposes mechanisms of such reactions to elaborate the potential mysteries happening within the scene. The topics include, but are not limited to:

Enzyme kinetics/biocatalysis, catalysis, gas phase kinetics, condensed or solution phase kinetics, heterogeneous kinetics, combustion kinetics, ion kinetics, electrochemical kinetics, experimental methods etc.
