Developments in the World, especially in the fields of communication and technology, create new possibilities for people and cause problems such as inequality in the income distribution of the poor. Major changes in the economy are increasing inequality in income distribution of poverty all over the World. New economic practices have led to the increase of existing problems and the emergence of new social problems under the influence of globalization.
In recent years, there have been changes in social service practice areas due to the increase and diversification of social problems. The wars, economic crises, migration movements, health reforms have increased the need for social services.This special issue is intended to present different perspectives on researchers, social workers, administrators, civil society organizations and policy makers on changing social work in the world.
