About This Special Issue
Focus: While science and technologies have boosted the growth of social wealth and the improvement of civilization, they can also pose serious threats, losses, and even disasters to humans and society. The conduct and progress of scientific research and technology application should be regulated by laws such as science and technology law, cyber law, and intellectual property law. The application prospects and legal risks of science and technology should be evaluated and clarified as well. In addition, science, technology, and law are more closely intertwined in this digital era than before. Science and technologies lead to legal and policy reform when laws also have a significant impact on the development and direction of science and technologies. This special issue intends to shed lights on this area. This special issue would focus on the relationship between science, technologies and the law, especially in a circumstance where new technologies and new industries emerge continuously. The special issue would also provide legal suggestions for researchers from different disciplines.
Aims and Scope:
Aims: establishing an interdisciplinary cross-study platform for science, technologies, and the law; produce some research results in high quality; providing suggestions, countermeasures, and strategies for decision-making departments.
Scope: 1. Cognition of technology and law and their interaction; 2. Science and technologies that improve law and society; 3. Legal regulation required for the development of science and technologies.
