About This Special Issue
This special issue will review the current research available around the world about Gene therapy. It will explain what gene therapy is available to the general public and explain how difficult is it for the FDA to pass AAV gene therapies. It will also explain how the bioprocessing of AAV is achieved, and take the reader into what the drawbacks are in industry and biomanufacturing? It will highlight the current gene therapies on the market, and why more are not available. It will finish with what the future may hold for gene therapy.

Aims and Scope:

  1. Gene therapy review
  2. Biomanufacturing
  3. Accessibility
  4. Current therapies available
  5. Drawbacks to gene therapy
  6. Future Challenges

Abstract: Antibody based drugs are increasingly being used to treat a vast array of diseases because of their unique affinity to target specific antigen proteins on the surfaces of target cancer cells. Fusions of antibodies and conjugated biopharmaceuticals are progressively being used as this gives the opportunity to target other cytotoxic molecules to unwa... Show More
