Abstract: Turbulent free surface flows are encountered in many hydraulic and water resources engineering problems. In this work, the CFD code "Fluent" is used to study the meshing effect on the hydrodynamic structure around water Darrieus rotor. This code is based on solving steady Navier-Stokes equations by a finite volume discretization model. The numerical approach used is the multi reference frame (MRF) model. The validation of our computer model is done by the comparison with experimental anterior results.Abstract: Turbulent free surface flows are encountered in many hydraulic and water resources engineering problems.
