Research on the Development Status of Rural Labor Transfer and Employment in the Main Towns of Jiuzhaigou County

Abstract: The transfer of rural labor force to employment is an important focus of promoting farmers' income increase, narrowing the gap between the rich and the poor between urban and rural residents, and realizing farmers' prosperity. The rural revitalization strategy and the "No. 1 Central Document" in 2018 both emphasized the significance of rural labor transfer and employment in realizing farmers' prosperity. This study takes the four main townships of Jiuzhaigou as the research object. We collected relevant data on rural labor transfer and employment in Jiuzhaigou County and its four townships through visits and investigations. On the base of the data, we made a detailed analysis and comparative study on labor employment and transfer in various towns and villages by means of statistical analysis. It is found that nature and social economy are the main factors that affect the transfer of labor force. There are some problems in Jiuzhaigou County, such as low technical content of rural labor force transfer, weak competitiveness, serious land abandonment, and insufficient local ability to absorb the number of transferred labor force. In view of the above problems, this study proposes that the government of Jiuzhaigou County should conduct pre-job training for rural labor force to enhance their competitive advantage, improve the welfare system to ensure the labor force transfer, implement rural land contract and transfer, and at the same time attach importance to the diversified development of industries. So as to promote the optimization of the transfer of rural labor force, to promote farmers’ income and farmers’ prosperity.

Abstract: Aerodynamic property of food grains are key elements in agricultural product harvesting, pneumatic conveying, separating, cleaning, transportation, and storage. Crop grain aerodynamic property influences the design and operational parameters of equipment. Among the property, terminal velocity is highly essential because it is crop variety specific and moisture dependant. Previously, the terminal velocity of agricultural grains could be evaluated experimentally using a vertical wind column equipment, but numerical analysis has recently emerged as the fastest and least expensive way for solving most of engineering problems, In this study, Rocky DEM was fully coupled with Ansys Fluent to model and simulate analysis of terminal velocity of Teff, wheat, Maize, Sorghum and Barley grains. after simulation results obtained comparison between experimental and simulation results based on previous researcher, from previous researchers terminal velocity of Teff, Wheat, Maize, Sorghum and Barley grains were 3.08-3.96m/s, 6.81-6.86m/s, 10.6-11.4m/s, 9.10-9.79m/s and 6.8-8.53m/s respectively at different moisture content, similarly for Ansys Rocky DEM-CFD coupling simulation result terminal velocity for Teff, Wheat, Maize, Sorghum and Barley grain were 3.6m/s, 9.1m/s, 10.8m/s, 9.6m/s and 6.6m/s respectively. Ansys RockyDEM-CFD coupling simulation results were almost the same with experimental result. To determine terminal velocity of any agricultural grain we can use experimental method or Ansys Rocky DEM-CFD coupling.
