Abstract: The phenomenon of offense and forgiveness are shown in the interpersonal relations in which two – the offender and the victim are involved. The method is under construction on a combination of a lecture, seminar and practical training. At students reconsideration of sensitivity is reflected in difficult cognitive processes in which the external and internal factors influencing knowledge of reality and an objectivication of created concepts are closely bound.

Implication of Sexual Intention on Date Initiation in the Korean College Students

Abstract: This study is to delineate date initiation’s relevance to sexual intentions amongst the young people. The primary objective of this study is to confirm the presence of sex differences with regards to rating sexual intentions of the date-initiator when initiating for a date. The secondary objective is to confirm that the participants rated a higher intention for the male date-initiator than the female date-initiator. Three types of date-initiating activities (going for dinner, a drive, and drinking alcoholic beverages) were introduced to 216 male and 266 female Korean college students. As expected, sex differences were found in the ratings concerning the female-initiated dating, but not in the male-initiated dating. Additionally, there was a higher intention of sexual engagements in male-initiated dates than female-initiated dates.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine the factor structure, validity and reliability of the Massachusetts General Hospital Hair pulling Scale. Participants (304 male and 331 female) selected and the instruments of this study administered on them. Convergent validity of Massachusetts General Hospital Hair pulling Scale with the Obsessive–Compulsive Inventory-Revised, Yale –Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale modified For BDD, Health Anxiety Inventory—Short Form and Skin Picking Impact Survey respectively were r=0.20, r=0.47, r=0.17 and r=0.47. Confirmatory factor analyses revealed total factor, one assessing impairment and the other symptom severity. The Cronbach's alpha for the total factor was 0.82. It can be concluded that this instrument is a useful measure for assess Hair pulling disorder symptoms in clinical assessment.

Abstract: This empirical study demonstrates that extraversion and loneliness as important variables predicting depression, subjective happiness, satisfaction with life and online flow experience. Extraversion was categorized into two categories, namely high and low extraversion. Similarly loneliness was also categorized into high and low loneliness. Data was collected from 342 participants (184 males and 158 females) using a structured questionnaire that contained all the variables of the study. Statistical techniques such as reliability and multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA) were used to analyze the data. Results revealed significant main effects of extraversion and loneliness on depression, subjective happiness, satisfaction with life and online flow experience. High extraversion and low loneliness had a negative effect on depression and online flow experience, and a positive effect on subjective happiness and satisfaction with life. Interaction effects indicated that an individual has low depression and low online flow experience, and high subjective happiness and high satisfaction with life when he/she is extroverted in nature and suffers from low degree of loneliness. The details of findings of the study have been suitably discussed.

Abstract: This paper explored the psychosocial factors influencing the perception and choice of nursing as a profession by student nurses. Three hundred and sixty student nurses (N=360) were systematically sampled from Korle - Bu Nurses’ Training College in the Accra Metropolis in Ghana. A self-designed questionnaire on the students’ perception of the nursing profession and the factors that influenced their choice of nursing as a career was administered to students in their first, second and third year of study in the programme. The results were analyzed using ANOVA and Chi square Test of Independence. The findings of the study revealed that the students had a favourable perception of nursing as a profession. The psychosocial factors that influenced their choice of nursing included, the opportunity that the profession will offer for them to travel abroad and influence from parents. It was recommended that the government should formulate policies to upgrade remunerations for professional nurses in the country to minimize the exodus of nurses since the study indicated that students had high levels of intention to travel abroad after graduation.

The Relationship between Spatial Awareness and Mathematic Disorders in Elementary School Students with Learning Mathematic Disorder

Abstract: This research was designed to study the relationship between spatial awareness with mathematic disorders, in elementary school students at grade three in Isfahan city. A sample of 60 students was selected from elementary schools. Spatial Awareness Questionnaire and Raven Intelligence Test were administered to the subjects. The results of stepwise regression analysis showed that the correlation between spatial awareness, IQ and classification of students with mathematic ability were significant (P < 0.01). The results also showed that the correlation between gender and mathematic ability was not significant (P > 0.05). The results of this study support the claim that stimulus of child in environment and pre-school programs especially in spatial awareness, can be progress mathematic ability of students in elementary school. The most important finding from these analyses is that mathematic performance relates with spatial awareness as well as intelligence.
