Abstract: Dark is a Netflix series that explores the interesting idea of time travel, which is very famous in popular culture. This paper is trying to interpretate the notion of time travel, as a literary theme, in its psychological aspects, in relation to the Dark Netflix series, using statistical analysis of the duration of every scene in each episode of the first season of Dark. The authors are using statistical analysis to explore (a) the conflicting relations between major characters and (b) their relationship with space and time. Our research estimated the duration of each scene in every episode of the first season in Dark. Each episode “broke down” into scenes, the duration of each scene and the duration of the timeline of each character (in every scene, sequence, episode respectively). Εach character’s relation with specific space (i.e. Winden, police station, school etc.) and time (1953, 1986, 2019 2052) was statistically measured. In addition, we measured the duration of the conflict of each character in every scene in every space and time. The duration of every scene, characters timeline and conflict time was calculated and then clustered into first order factors such as, NATURE, CIVILIZATION, CONFLICT, TIME etc. Other first order factors were clustered, such as the total duration of a character’s appearance in specific space and in certain time Statistical analysis showed that there is no significant difference in any of the 1st order factors examined. This finding highlights key aspects of hypermodernity, a key term that outlines the current human condition by describing the deeper connection of an individual with space and time. The authors are arguing that time travel theme in Dark is very close to the theoretical construct of hypermodernity because it is expressing the profound ways in which individuals are related, intertwined, and reflecting upon their own experience with space and time. This experience of space and time is a core element in today’s hypermodernity state. In addition, this paper is also trying to articulate a psychoanalytical reading of the Dark series, which further highlights the hypermodernity aspect of this narration. Under this scope, the authors are arguing that “Dark” should be considered as one of the most prominent hypermodern television series.

Abstract: The current research seeks to explore and generate scientific indications about diagnosis, challenges and future suggestions from psychiatrists' point of view for the possibility of transmitting anxiety from parents to their children using the Grounded Theory. To achieve these goals, the researchers used the grounded theory approach as one of the qualitative research designs and analyzed the data collected from (11) specialized psychiatrists at the National Center for Psychiatry in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan through structured and semi-structured interviews. The results of interviews with psychiatrists revealed the presence of four developed categories or concepts, the first developed concept “scientific indicators for diagnosing the possibility of transmission of anxiety from the psychiatrist’s point of view,” the second developed concept “the challenges facing the psychiatrist in diagnosing the possibility of transmission of anxiety,” and the third developed concept. Solutions: future prospects for the psychiatrist to prevent the possibility of anxiety transmission” and finally, the fourth developed concept “important aspects of the psychiatrist’s focus on preventing the possibility of anxiety transmission.” From parents to their children and to prevent them in the future, and that this process is difficult due to the multiple sources of anxiety and their continuous interaction (environmental indicators, genetic indicators), and therefore it must face challenges, which need future follow-up, in order to reduce this possibility and prevent it in the future. The results of the current research, we need to pay attention to focusing on the prevention aspect by preparing for a comprehensive integrated plan in the system Health care for the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan (considering the results of this current research) to prevent the transmission of anxiety in the future.

Abstract: Digital finance has increasingly become an indispensable part in life, and integral to digital finance is E-banking. However, the elderly, who are one of the target groups of inclusive finance, have a low utilization rate of digital finance and E-banking. Based on socioemotional selectivity theory, this study explored the relationship between future time perspective of the elderly in China and their use of E-banking, and the mechanism underlying the relationship. A total of 1400 elderly people (including 623 males and 777 females) aged over 60 in Ningbo and Guangzhou were recruited. Their use of E-banking, security perception, attitude and future time perspective of digital finance were investigated. The results showed that future time perspective was significantly correlated with attitude towards digital finance and use of E-banking. Future time perspective indirectly affects use of E-banking through the attitude towards digital finance. Perception of digital finance security moderated the relationship between future time perspective and attitude towards digital finance. The current research finds that the perception of future time of the elderly will affect their attitude towards digital finance and their use behavior, which can be used to promote the use of E-banking and digital finance in real life. In addition, in order to change the attitude towards digital finance of the elderly, their views on future digital financial security should also be considered. The research needs to further explore the factors that affect attitude towards digital finance of the elderly, and how to change their attitude towards digital finance through intervention.
