Abstract: The present study aims to investigate whether the psychometric results proposed by [1] for the Self-efficacy in the Sociocultural Sphere Scale replicate. The total sample was of 1545 subjects; 616 women and 929 men, first year students in the degrees offered at the Autonomous University of Chihuahua, with an mean age of 18.21 years (SD = 0.73). The factorial structure of the questionnaire was analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis. The analysis shows that a two-factor structure is feasible and appropriate. The two-factor structure (Promotion of Culture and Cultural Identity), based on statistical and substantive criteria, has shown adequate fit indicators of reliability and validity. Furthermore, the results of the factor analysis conducted with subsamples, indicate the existence of strong evidence of the stability of the factor structure. Future research should replicate these findings in larger samples.

Abstract: This study addresses the immigrant issues in European countries. It attempts to mostly evaluate the developed European countries. After the world wars, the need for labor force emerged in developed European countries. Those countries demanded a high amount of qualified labor force from Turkey and other Muslim countries through agreements signed. Decreased birth rate and increase of elderly population constitutes a really big dilemma for European countries. Such that increased labor demand of European countries has not yet reached an optimum level. Not soon after the immigration traffic, main culture and compliance issues have arisen among immigrants, and they have tried to overcome such issues. Many attempts have been made to overcome the real problems that still exist today. For solving such problems, different methods have been tried such as assimilation, integration and lastly multiculturalism. Historically, this process emerges as an issue on which consensus could not be reached in Europe even in 2015. The most obvious signs of this situation particularly include the harshening rhetoric of the extreme right-wing party leaders in various European countries as well as the rise of social acceptance rate of these parties. Though they were invited to the host country by private agreements and welcomed with flowers, those people are still described by the host culture and official authorities as 'foreign' or 'immigrant workers', which imply alienation. Considering the problem stated above, this article is intended to investigate this historical experience.

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to examine whether emotional intelligence and affectivity will predict the use of emotional labour strategies among bank employees in Nigeria, who are presently facing higher emotional demands. This study was a cross-sectional survey study, in which 277 (males = 126; females = 151) bank employees were selected from branches of some commercial banks in the capital city of Ondo State, Nigeria, using a convenience sampling technique. Results of the hierarchical multiple regression analysis indicated that bank employees with higher emotional intelligence and positive affectivity tend to utilize deep acting while those with low emotional intelligence and negative affectivity tend to utilize surface acting. These findings have implications for training, recruitment, and selection exercises.
